For Season 10, BBQ 3 we gave the wonderful Guinness Red Meat Marinade a thorough testing.
Our lovely neighbours, Karen and Mark, came over after Mark had helped me (or shold I say, kindly led the way) with the Decking Project that I am currently embarking on (more to come on that later - hoping to finish this weekend).
Although the Guinness Marinade from Drinkstuff is supposed to be used on red meat we actually used it on chicken breasts.
The Kettle BBQ got so hot that I was forced to try and slow cook the chicken by pushing the coals to the edge of the BBQ and then balancing the chicken away from the hot spots.
I absolutely love my Kettle Barbecue and cannot recommend them highly enough.
The chicken was cooked in 10-15 mins and was so nice and tender it tasted perfect. We served the Guinness Marinaded Chicken with rocket salad and Garlic bread.
All in all, a fantastic effort and I will be ordering more of the Guinness Marinade.
Guinness Marinade is availabe from Drinkstuff for just £4.99!
