The lovely people from Young’s brewery have been kind enough to share a great BBQ recipe with us that incorporates one of their range of Bitters. The recipe is BBQ Spatchcocked Poussin and it not only tastes great but is also brilliantly easy to make. For those not familiar with how to spatchcock a chicken or [...]
Anyone who BBQ’s will know the importance of the “dips and chips” at the start. Weak people go for crudités (a range of chopped veg for dipping in sauces) but real BBQ’ers have to go for some serious crisps and nothing does the job better than Kettle Chips. For us Kettle Chips are the Number One [...]
At a recent away match BBQ I got to try a BBQ Vegetable Basket and was fairly impressed. I am very much from the old-school of BBQ’ing as in it should really be meat or fish all the way but I do accept that on the odd occasion, a bit of greenery is necessary. The one [...]
One of the real downsides of running iLoveMyBBQ.com is having to try all of the drinks that are associated with summer and BBQ’ing and this week is another toughie. Southern Comfort (the people behind last years yummy Southern Comfort, Lemonade and Lime) have done it again and unveiled a range of sunshine inspired BBQ cocktails. We [...]
We have tried this simple to make BBQ recipe few times now, adding a few bits here and there and I think it is now at the stage where I we are ready to unleash it upon the world. Lamb is a big favourite of ours, we usually get a leg, rolled, with the [...]
This is an adaptation of a recipe a friend introduced me to last year using traditional cooking methods that we have finally been able to try on our own kettle BBQ. This a really easy BBQ recipe and once again, it gives you a dish that not only tastes nice but also looks good, especially if [...]

To make a BBQ go with a real swing you need a bit of music. Historically I have always took my laptop down to the garden and just let it blast out, but since I have got a new one I have been less inclined to do this in fear of damaging it. Instead I have [...]

There is no doubting it, the Guinness BBQ Marinade is the hit of the 2009 BarBeCue season so far. We have had it at every BBQ so far and everyone has raved about it! We have had so many BBQ’s I have struggled to keep up on here but the last few have involved friends coming [...]

For Season 10, BBQ 3 we gave the wonderful Guinness Red Meat Marinade a thorough testing. Our lovely neighbours, Karen and Mark, came over after Mark had helped me (or shold I say, kindly led the way) with the Decking Project that I am currently embarking on (more to come on that later - hoping to [...]

So last weekend was BBQ Season 10, Game 2 and it was another away fixture, this time at Granny BS’s house. On the menu was a great BBQ recipe of Paul Newman BBQ Sauce Marinade with butterflied chicken breasts and some traditional burgers. I have only tried the Paul Newman BBQ sauces a few times and had [...]
